Here in Central Kentucky, May and June are the peak months for the unique and delicious tasting vegetable, asparagus. At Charred Oaks Inn we make made-to-order breakfasts daily utilizing the fresh fruits and vegetables available in this beautiful area. Asparagus is a great favorite with our guests and in particular, two of our entrees top the list of most requested dishes this time of the year: ham, asparagus, mushroom and Swiss bake and our asparagus, prosciutto and ricotta tart in puff pastry.
Breakfast is served anytime between 8AM and 10AM in the inn's Dining Room or in bed (we also offer an earlier start time for those guests needing to meet up with tour guides or be at a distillery for the first tour of the day). We work with dietary preferences and food allergies and just ask that we are made aware of our guests' needs at the time of booking. This can be done on the reservation page in the "comments section" on our secure website https://www.charredoaksinn.com or via text or email at 513-739-6156.
