#NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY 2020

This morning at Charred Oaks Inn in Lexington, Kentucky we celebrated #National Pancake Day offering Shrove Tuesday Pancakes for our sweet entree. These "pancakes" are made in the European tradition of using a thin batter similar to crepes and served with a sprinkling of granulated sugar and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Breakfast is served in the Inn's Dining Room or in bed daily from 8:00AM - 10:00AM If you are an early riser, no worry - coffee and tea are available in the guest rooms and in the Living Room 24/7. Breakfasts are plated and made-to-order offering a choice of starters, a sweet entree and a savory entree. Additionally, egg dishes ranging from omelettes to eggs sunnuside up are available. A "lite breakfast" is also available and consists of granola, a scoop of lowfat Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.
