Charred Oaks Inn's Gourmet S'mores - graham crackers, Brie, chocolate, Kentucky blackberry preserves, marshmallows and blackberries. Here in Greater Lexington, Kentucky things are beginning to open up after a successful shutdown period of being #healthyathome. Many restaurants are re-opening their dining rooms (at a reduced capacity) in addition to their delivery or curbside service and beginning next month we will see museums, outdoor attractions, wineries, distilleries and libraries join the list. Charred Oaks Inn's Chocolate Pots de Creme (pronounced poh-de-crem) are delicious, rich and sophisticated yet amazingly simple to make. This version requires no baking so you can serve them in your choice of parfait glasses, demitasse cups, shot glasses, dessert wine glasses, tea cups (our favorite), espresso cups or mini ramekins.
