CHARRED OAKS INN KICKS OFF #145 KENTUCKY OAKS/KENTUCKY DERBY WEEKEND!

It's here at last! The 145th running of the Kentucky Derby! Tomorrow all eyes will be on the three-year old colts, but today it's all about the ladies at the 145th running of the Kentucky Oaks. The three-year old fillies will strut their stuff amidst a sea of pink - the color du jour in honor of the Stargazer Lily awarded to the winner. Nomenclatures like Bellafina, Champagne Anyone, Chocolate Kisses, Restless Rider and Lady Apple will thunder around the track at Churchill Downs. Several of our Charred Oaks Inn guests (from Hong Kong and California) have donned their Kentucky Oaks best finery and are trackside.
