EARTH DAY 2016 AT CHARRED OAKS INN
From all of us here at Charred Oaks Inn we wish you and yours a glorious day to celebrate our earth!
In the wise words of Wendell E. Berry (born August 5, 1934) an American novelist, poet, environmental activist, cultural critic, and farmer in his The Art of the Commonplace: The Agrarian Essays he says “...the care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy and, after all, our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it, and to foster its renewal, is our only legitimate hope.”
