CHARRED OAKS INN GUESTS CELEBRATE KENTUCKY DERBY 1-4-2 IN STYLE
This morning at Charred Oaks Inn in Versailles, Kentucky just 70 odd miles east of Churchill Downs, our guests from as far away as Vermont, Illinois, Florida, and Kansas were preparing for their adventure at the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby. Breakfast was eaten early and everyone departed before the proverbial clock struck 8:00AM, but not before posing for pictures on the front porch of the inn.
Everyone looked beautiful! And it looked like Mother Nature was going to cooperate too. Amid shouts of "have fun", "bring home a winner" and "don't break the bank", the guests took off.
Whether your horse won or lost, all of us at Charred Oaks Inn hope you had as fun a Derby Day as we did!
