If you weren't able to get tickets for this year's Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky, an alternative way to celebrate this annual tradition is at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky just up the road from Charred Oaks Inn.

With over 1,000 tvs, access to wagering, great food, Maker's Mark drink specials and live music at the Bud Light Stage in the Paddock, Keeneland is the perfect place to watch the running of the 147th Kentucky Derby.

Gates will open at 10a.m. and parking is free. Tickets must be purchased in advance at tickets.keeneland.com

Attendees will NOT be permitted to bring food or coolers inside the admission gates. Concessions and bars will be open throughout the Grandstand. Patrons may bring their own chairs for use on the North Terrace and Track Apron. Keeneland will have limited patio tables and chairs in the Saddling Paddock for fans on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year a Hat Contest is in the works. Post your best derby Hat photo on social media using #KeenelandHatContest, tagging @Keeneland, or sending via direct message. Submissions must be posted by 5:00p.m. Winners will be contacted at 6:30p.m. POST TIME: 6:57p.m.

Masks will be required for all attendees.

Charred Oaks Inn, a #Select Registry bed and breakfast, is located 7 miles from Keeneland. The inn is open year round.
