Richard and I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas Day and in keeping with the spirit of the season, wanted to take this opportunity to say :thank you" to all the special folks who impact our lives at Charred Oaks Inn throughout the year.
Charred Oaks Inn, our lovely Kentucky Bed & Breakfast located just 12 miles outside downtown Lexington, is the perfect place for a romantic weekend, a relaxing getaway with that special someone, an excellent home-base for touring distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and checking out bourbon-related bars, shops, etc., or visiting Keeneland, the Kentucky Horse Park, Old Friends Farm or area horse heroes and the farms where they reside,
We offer four very large, spacious, quiet and uniquely decorated guest rooms including a full two-room suite, two Junior Suites and one premium King Room. All of our rooms have king-size four poster beds, private in-room bathrooms, most with tub-shower combos, mini fridges stocked with complimentary sodas, water, etc, coffee makers, smart TVs, free WiFi, ironing boards/iron, and plush robes along with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
A made-to-order breakfast is available daily allowing COI guests to customize their breakfast and decide whether or not they wish to enjoy it in the inn's bright and beautiful dining room or have it delivered to their room to indulge in breakfast in bed! Complimentary sips and nibbles are offered daily during check-in hours and a delicious, homemade dessert is served each evening along with espresso.

This commitment takes a great deal of team effort so Richard and I would like to say a big thank you to our housekeeping and laundry folks like Candy, Keisha, Sharon and Kat; our Special Events Associate, Shannon; our landscaping team from Grant's Lawn and Garden; our expert handyman, Martin; the terrific teams from Semone's Plumbing and Semone's Heating & Air-conditioning; the special folks at Kroger - Rose, Gina and Beverly - who always know exactly what we we're looking for and where to find it; the folks at Superior Dry Cleaning who keep our linens spotless; and last, but not least, the team of wonderful individuals at Starbucks (Parkers Mill) who not only grind our coffee to perfection, but retain the favorite beverages and snacks of COI's innkeepers,as well as keep us smiling with their never-ending affection and inclusion in their lives!
